Narratives

This is a collection of narratives. Each collection has a narrative behind the photograph. Giving the viewer a meaning to what they are seeing, and or an explanation of why the photograph was created.

I decided to emulate William Mumler. William Mumler was known to be a spirit photographer. I took these photos in the studio.I used Lily Wiesler as a model, she was the still person in the photo. While I was the model for the "spirit". I first took a photo of Lily sitting in the chair. Then I took a photo of myself with the chair gone, and a 13-second shutter speed. In post, I composited the photos together, lowered the opacity of the photo of me to look more ghost-like, and layered over the photo of Lily. I had a ton of fun experimenting with different ghost photos of me over the photo of Lily. I think this was a fun experiment.
